A Pattern for Tasha

I'm rubbish...I've had this pattern for a crocheted hat written down on a piece of scrap paper for ages and I'm only just getting around to typing it up!

This is a little hat suitable for Lisa's Stars...I love it because it's so quick to work up, which means more hats for tiny babies.

It's written in British Crochet terms (even though I now think in American terms as I've been reading a lot of American patterns recently!)

Sorry Tasha, here it is:

Round 1: Ch3, sl st into 3rd chain from hook to form loop.
Round 2: Ch 2 (this is your first treble crochet), work 11 tr into loop, join round using sl st into your first tr. (12 st in round)
Round 3: Ch2, [tr in next st, 2 tr in next stitch] 6 times, join round using sl st into your first tr. (18st)
Round 4: Ch2, [tr in next 2 sts, 2 tr in next stitch] 6 times, join round using sl st into your first tr. (24st)
Round 5-7: Ch2, tr in each st around,  join round using sl st into your first tr. (24st)

Fasten off and sew in the ends.

This is my first crochet pattern I've ever writtten up so I'm not sure how it reads...hope it's ok!
